Working Together to Better the World
Please comment your opinions on political systems.
It is said every year. The left say it, the right say it. We need to work together. On this, on that, on whatever faces their country. Whether that be war or poverty. This is something I agree with, the left or the right will not be able to solve problems facing the world, ever. The two sides have opposing opinions about most things and similar opinions about a small number of things. But either sides idea wont work. Time and time before extreme socialism have proven to not work, it puts to much control over the population. But capitalism doesn't help either, yeah it makes people a lot of money, but the biggest problem is that it creates a bigger gap between the rich and poor. I'm not here to give a solution because lets face it, it would be a miracle for one person to fix it, it would need a group, people from both sides, explaining how the economy and the people matter. What I've noticed in the short time I've been interested in politics is that the right normally try to look after the economy which is fair enough because with a shit economy, the people will not be able to live, prices will be to high. Money would be worth less in a poor economy world and that just doesn't help anyone. Eventually people will revolt as they are not happy, as the government is making cuts on healthcare or emergency services. The left look after the people, making sure the rich is paying enough tax, making sure the government is giving the population the best possible living standards, but in turn this can ruin the economy so that the very problem the right is trying to prevent happens.
There are problems that are seen in both sides of the political spectrum which is why I like the centralist's. As it's the best way to progress politics to progress the world in a way that our economy can run efficiently and the people wont face cuts.
For the people who argue that capitalism is working, being in debt is not working for countries. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer, surly you can see the problem in this? It will ruin the world.
And to the people who support socialism, the main problem is that is gives to much power to the state, can you not see the problem that is there? Another problem is that, what is the point in trying? You get rich you pay more tax, you do well in your field of work, you get paid the same.
In the west I feel that it is too late for a complete change so quick, everyone is so used to capitalism and to take it away would crush a lot of peoples spirits. so I ask, without success where does tax come from? The people that cry for socialism don't understand the risks, they don't understand that the system they have grown up in is so different to what socialism is.
We need to work out a new political and economic system that will work better than the others but also incorporate the best of what they are. We need to work together to make sure that everyone is represented in this system for the world is slowly burning in more ways than one.
This is something I will continue to research and talk about more, please comment on how you feel and how your political system may not work.
Post Election Thoughts
So the Conservatives lost their majority. Calling the election has been the biggest mistake in recent conservative history and Teresa May's biggest mistake in her career. Whats going to happen now? Well first, the queen's speech has to get through parliament. The Queen's speech is something that normally happens each year and will list the new laws that will be debated by parliament. The government is free to introduce new laws that the queen doesn't mention. The speech will happen on the 21st of June and MPs will vote on it a week later. The conservatives have the most MPs but not a majority, so they need to strike a deal with another party to secure the votes for the queens speech so that Teresa May stays Prime Minister. The party they are trying to make a deal with is the DUP who is a party in Northern Ireland which is more right wing than the conservatives. We will see in time the true outcome of all this. But at the end of the day it was a mistake calling the election.
